How will CoreTech manage your project?

Development of Team/Project Plan: Support operational aspects of the facilitated planning sessions for teams. Coordinate team/project plans. Update plans at least weekly, or after major modifications in scope, resources or timeline. Coordinate the development and maintain the change control process for team/project (manage scope). Ensure accurate collection and communication of team/project metrics.

Team Management: Provide timely meeting agendas and meeting minutes and coordinate meeting logistics. Work to motivate, influence, and enhance cross-functional teamwork. Help mentor new team members. Coordinate team recognition.

Risk Management: Coordinate the development and participate in the execution of team risk assessment and contingency planning. Communicate risk assessment and contingency plans within the team. Proactively identify and communicate to the team the risks that may affect the critical path. Monitor the implementation of contingency plans.

Timeline Management: Develop and maintain up-to-date Microsoft Project (or other pertinent tool) work break down structures or process maps. Identify, communicate, and manage the critical path and leading indicators of the team's progress to major milestones. Understand the interdependencies in the teams plan. Provide reminders to team members of upcoming team-related activities, key milestones and decisions.

Effective Team Communication: Maintain processes and tools to effectively communicate information and team progress to senior management, governance committees, team members, and external vendors. Coordinate development of a communication plan for the team. Communicate changes in plan. Archive all relevant team information at the termination of a project.

Cost Management: Coordinate the development of team budgets. Report variances to plan, investigate reasons for discrepancies and take appropriate actions to resolve. Drive re-forecast when necessary. Ensure that the team plan and the business plan budgets are aligned. Assist the team in understanding the cost of development options.
